TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE FOR PROJECT PREPARATION IN THE WATER SECTOR - TOWNS OF VELIKO, TARNOVO, KURDZHALI, PERNIK, VIDIN, PLOVDIV, DOBRICH ET YAMBOL
WMI was principally in charge of the potable water and sewage measuring campaigns.
Description of WMI services
1. Implementation of potable water & sewage measuring campaigns in the 7 towns of Veliko Tarnovo, Kurdzhali, Pernik, Vidin, Plovdiv, Dobrich and Yambol
- Preparation & planning of all measurement campaigns in each of the town
- Establishment of methodology for execution of the measuring campaigns
- Provision of measuring equipment
- Construction of chambers for installation of measuring equipment
- Implementation of the measuring campaigns in the 7 towns, during a total period of 12 weeks
- Sampling campaigns
- Leak detection campaign carried out in pilot zones in each of the 7 cities representing a total of 47km of network investigated with 71 leaks detected
2. Submission of 14 full detailed measuring campaign reports with the following comprehensive interpretation of data collected
For potable water network:
- Characteristics of the measuring campaign
- Analysis of the flow, pressure and level information by measuring points and sectors
- Analysis of the pilot zone measurement and leak detection
- Synthesis on overall state of potable water network
- Maps and curves
For sewage network:
- Characteristics of the measuring campaign
- Results of flow measurements under dry and rainy weather conditions for each measuring point and by catchment basins
- Synthesis on overall state of sewage network
- Maps and curves
