On June 23, EBI (Egis BCEOM International, an engineering and consulting firm), in joint venture with WMI, signed a contract to upgrade the drinking water supply system in the city of Dar Es Salaam in Tanzania.
The contract, worth €2.1 million, calls for diagnostic tests in pilot zones throughout the system, the supply of measuring equipment, and the drafting of a request for proposals for a Performance Contract for the reduction of Non Revenue Water, issued subsequently by the client.
The work will be carried out until August 2011.
